                                                 The Author of these studies

The author of these studies, Dr. Helen Tzima Otto, is a former Academician.  She holds a B.A. in Economics and Business, a Master's in International Business and International Trade, an M.B.A. (with specialization in Quantitative Management Science and Finance) and a Doctorate in Economics (Comparative Economic Systems).  She has received additional training in Input-Output Economics, Mathematical Programming and Econometrics.  She has worked in industry prior to her academic work and has done some consulting.

She speaks six European languages and for a number of years, while in her native Greece, she was taught Classical Greek.  These are, obviously, valuable tools when studying Scriptural Prophecies (Septuagint i.e., the Greek translation of the OT) as well as the NT, but also prophecies generated in the Greek speaking world in the course of the last three millennia, for, we must also explicitly consider the incalculable worth and indispensable inputs of the Sibylline Oracles.  Consequently, the labor of processing large volumes of data (economic, social, historical and prophetic ones), is very much within her interests, sphere of training, work experience and scientific expertise.

Dr. Helen Tzima Otto is of the conviction that Eschatology is a science, which borrows from and feeds on many other Academic Disciplines from Astronomy and Electromagnetism to Earth Sciences, History Political Economy, and so on.  Also, it is the Science par excellence of Human Survival.  The sooner we realize that, the better our chances of successfully dealing with the End Times will become.  Most certainly, Eschatology is definitely not merely an academic subject in religious education, made up of a few chapters at best, to be covered at the discretion of the instructor at the end of a semester (if time permits, of course).  For too long, people erroneously believed that Eschatology exclusively belongs by right of birth to Theological Curricula and Christian Seminary Education.  By the Grace of God, we finally become painfully aware that Eschatology so far has been treated as a war captive of Theological curricula and quasi-religious academic training; a captive, furthermore, forced to silence and utter neglect and pushed in the basement of academic course scheduling, as if in a dungeon where the keeper locked the door and threw away the key.  In fact, Eschatology has become a Tabu and a pariah precisely by those who pretended all along to be the only experts on the subject.

Consequently, the religious educational system does not prepare priests and theologians to deal successfully with eschatological issues, and to this very day they avoid even to mention the term.  This should be obvious to the naked eye, across all Denominations, with very minor blessed exceptions, by priests who do possess the Holy Spirit, are searching on their own and are painfully dissatisfied with the status quo.  This subject is being shunned under many pretexts and under many thinly veiled arguments by those who prefer to control all information flow from Above and exercise monopoly power on the `Salvation Industry'.   This is yet another leading indicator of the first order, identifying the times we live in...  In all economic systems there are Agency Costs, and the Economy of Salvation is not immune to them.  Caveat emptor!

Dr. Helen Tzima Otto is aware of the tremendous qualitative difference between data for analysis, collected from the business and economic world, vs. those collected from the prophets of God, directly.  In the global economy one deals with great uncertainties, among other things because there are invisible, unaccounted for variables with tremendous explanatory power, but which have not been properly identified to be properly incorporated into the analysis.  So, one can only hope to approximate reality even under quasi-ideal circumstances of data collection and theoretical model for their study.  On the other hand, the Word of God, as transmitted to us over the millennia via chosen men and women, (i.e., the genuine mouthpieces of God) is pure truth and possesses no bias of any kind.  But it has to be properly decoded.  And for this decoding one needs to rely on the accumulated learning and expertise from many areas of human endeavor and scientific achievement.  Eschatology, without the support of modern Science and accumulated human knowledge, quickly degenerates into uneducated guesses and mere personal opinion of unqualified, self-promoted `exegetes' with objectionable motivations and/or hidden agendas.

However, the unquestionable superiority of quality and the tremendous bounty of these prophetic data sets, by compliments of Heaven, makes the subject of Eschatological investigation not only a feasible one, but one whose rewards are literally out of this world.  Our Heavenly Father has already identified the essence of the tragedy of the human condition through His prophets of old, when He lamented that `My People perish for lack of knowledge'.  It is this lack of knowledge and of the timely appreciation of the perils of the Age that will spell out the unnecessary demise of very many millions of humans in the proximate future.  Our Father wishes to frustrate such horrendous loss of human life, considering how much He loves His Creation.  He gave us prophets to fore-warn and inform and advise us in order to assist us in our self-preservation endeavors.  Regrettably, as it has happened repeatedly in the past, most of the humans will not heed the warnings in time.  The Events of our proximate future are of a periodic nature.  They have happened in the past, repeatedly, over many millennia.  And it was always a Remnant which heeded the Mystics and the Sages and took corrective action in time.

The author of these studies believes that knowledge properly transmitted and heeded on time will enhance the chances of survival and salvation for many.  Of course, we all have been endowed with free will and the final decision to heed or not to heed rests with us.  Do not farm out the decisions of your survival and salvation to third parties, who are poorly qualified for such a task, to begin with.   (When your religious leaders preach that the world is only 6 thousand years old, `according to the Bible', allegedly, how could they ever realize that what is coming our way is a sine-qua-non in the Divine Economy and has been happening again and again over myriads of years in the earth's history?).  One reason why God's people perish for lack of knowledge is due to their own spiritual indolence.  They expect some `religious professional' to do their thinking for them and to supply ready answers.  The Verenikia Press has been explicitly created in order to help those who wish to help themselves by taking a more proactive stance vis-à-vis their salvation and survival.  The future is already here and it is much later than you dare to suspect.

...And, please, do not wait for December 21, 2012, either...  This date is not as eschatologically significant as many were led to believe.  Events will happen earlier than that and their nature will be much more horrendous and critical than anything that can be ever disclosed from the Mayan prophecies themselves...
